syn oil cause leak??
I can't find the thread but I remember someone posting not to use syn. oil in the tranny because it will cause a leak. Any one shed some lite on that. First service is coming up.

I've never had this happen on anyof my bikes, cars, tractors or any other equipment in the past 10 years. I use syn in everything with great results every time. Usually Amsoil or Redline.

There is some merit to it.It's called a false seal,false being the key word.This might be an issue with older equipment but nothing to cause concern in modern day stuff,if it's going to leak it will leak no matter what you are running.
