I bought a used set of S/E from an '08 S/E Ultra. In all honestly I wish they were a little louder.
If you bought the take-offs from an '08 SE Ultra ... then you have catalyst version pipes and they are really quiet. The MoCo had to put catalyst pipes on all of the 110" motors to meet EPA emissions standards. If you like how they look, you can drill out the cat material pretty easily and they get a bit more deep sounding and mellow ... but they will still be quieter than all the other SE version pipes though!
