Default Road Glide Bars

I have a 2007 Road Glide and am wanting to change the bars to the Heritage style bars. Has anyone done this on a RG and did the stock cables work?

Both the Heritage 56569-86 & the Wideglide 56079-93 & 93T will fit without changing any cables or wiring. Each has a slightly different wrist angle, so hold 'em up on your bike before you buy.

I personally like ...

CHUBBYÂŽ R.G. BARS
PART # WO517

Sensational 1 1/4" thick customs for the Road Glide. Designed for maximum comfort and control. They are 31.0" wide, with a 14.5" pullback and 8.5" end rise. They work with the stock Controls, Grips, Cables, Brake Line & Wiring. Now accepting new electronic throttle. http://www.wild1inc.com/

Guys,
I also have an 07 roadglide, just waiting for a corbin classic solo seat so I'm definately going to have to change the bars, thanks for the info on these bars I was wondering about the chubby bars for the roadglide, how far back do they move you, the corbin seat according to the site moves you back an additional 1.5 inches, any other suggestions out there for bars that move the rider back but you don't need to change cables, thanks

This has been discussed many times, especially for road glides as we seem to have a really sucky bar...

Do some searches on chubby, 517, 513, 508, Kromewerks
A couple of the strings you'll find:
[ul][*]Handlebar options for Road Glide??[*]Khromewerks 300505 sweeper bars [*]Found great Handlebars for RG[/ul]

All worked well for me, but the stock 07 front brake cable is about 2-3" short. Even if you straighten out the bend......Had to go to 4+ over stock.

Hey, I have my 517's on now. I have a little gap on both sides(clutch and throttle) between the switch housing's and where the bars go to1 1/4"........ It's on the front side (facing you while on the bike) the backside seems to butt up right. You too?

I never have noticed (and I'm sure I probably would have). However, I will be sure to take a look and let you know.
