I've got two of my windshield brass inserts starting to come out.How do i get those things to go back in? or do i have to go the dealer to get it fixed?
PULL OUT THE ENTIRE BRASS "PLUG" + SMEAR EPOXY ON OUTTER BRASS AND SOME IN HOLE IN FAIRING BODY. PRESS IN WITHA SMALL "C" CLAMP.. USE CARDBOARD ON INNER FAIRING SO AS NOT TO DAMAGE IT.
THE BRASS WILL NEVER COME OUT AGAIN. IVE DONE THIS MANY TIMES WITH MANY HOGS.. JUST ANOITHER DEFECT BY THE MOCO!
+1 and they screw in instead of push in. they hold really tight after that. You will prolly have to break off the slotted tabs after it seats but that is no big deal. They work great last long time.
