but when it comes to stereo equipment you get what you pay for. Hawg Wired is worth the money.
I don't agree that the HW is worth the money, it's not a bad product but it is WAY WAYWAY overpriced.
I have a Hog Tunes setup with the fairing lower speakers & AMP & a guy I know has one of the HW setups. His will play louder than mine, but that's about it. We have compared the systems quite a bit & the sound is in no way superior from his setup other than the volume & it cost something like 10 times as much. In some ways, the Hog Tunes actually sound better.

That is exactly the opposite of what my buddy said doing an A-B comparison. He said the Hog Tunes sounds good, just the Hawg Wired sounds a lot better. I'm waiting until I have 800.00 laying around and going Hawg Wired.
Whether it's thru the "Biketronics" radio kit....or separate purchase from PEZ....he'll get MY BUSINESS. I've emailed him SEVERAL TIMES asking questions...probably some repetitive...and he ALWAYS answers within a few minutes. ALWAYS!!!!
Yep....he's earned MY respect....and when the time does come....my BUSINESS!!!!
I don't have a system yet, but am looking, when I first saw the post , I thought , well thats one I don't need to check on......... then I read the rest of the posts on here, well, that didn't seem quite fair to bash someones company with what appears to be unfounded reasons. Almost cost the man some future business and may have with others. Good luck on your future sounds...

Well just to be clear I am not bashing Hog Tunes one bit. Its just one option at one price point.
You never asked for my address. I went over our emails to double check that Mr. Pez. But I did send you a copy of the paypal comformation.
Why don't you at least attempt to conduct business like an adult and IM the guy instead of whinning and bitching like a little school boy in the open forum?

The only thing I wish is for someone to come out with a Sub that mounts under the fairing to give more low end....
I used to be in the retail stereo business. We sold everything from cheap mobile audio all the way up to full out competition car setups.
I decided to try a SUB setup in my bike once just for kicks & installeda high powered/self powered Kicker setup inside my right saddle bag. When I fired it up in my garage, the bass was ridiculous. The bass was shaking the windows & it sounded like a pure Ghetto ride.
There was NO WAY I was leaving it that way (it was embarrassing), but just for kicks I took it out for a cruise that day. When I stopped at a red light, I had to turn it down so I wouldn't **** off everyone around me. The funny thing is, as I increased my speed the bass got less & less & disappeared behind me. By the time I reached about 60 mph I couldn't hear the bass at all...........

See, I don't agree with that. If you equate really reallyLOUD with good sound (& a lot of people do) then the Hawg Wired would definitely be your choice. To me however, the quality of the sound from the Hog Tunes setup is excellent although not as loud & you don't have to waste $800 on it.
The other thing is, even if the HW DID sound WAY better, at 60 mph on a Harley over the wind noise & throaty pipes you would never hear the difference anyway.........
I have done that. But after some of our emails he stopped responding to mine. All I asked him to do was take a look at them to see if there was something wrong. When they were installed they sounded great. But ater two years they started to sound bad. Like they were blown. I asked him if I could send them to him for him to take a look at them. I would ship them to him and pay the freight both ways. He asked if it had any HD updates. I told him yes and sent him a copy of the payment. Since then nothing back from him.
I know he has a great reputation here. I'm surprised about it too.But all I asked him to do was take a look at them. Damn guy whats wrong with that? He did respond to me here. He said he asked me for my address. He never did. Im done with it now. He has my email address, he can contact me if he wants.
