I'm with you bro, I bought the Hog Tunes speakers a couple months back. They have held up but I absolutely don't think they sound better than the stock speakers. I should have just kep the stock speakers.
If I was having trouble with a product or warrantyfrom a vender and wasn't satisfied with the email response, I'd give em a call on the phone. Email is fine and dandy but just doesn't replace a real voice conversation!

Have you had your hearing checked lately??
The stock speakers sound awful, I can't imagine anyone correctly installing any version of the Hog Tunes setups & not hearing an improvement unless you're stone deaf..........
I am one of those individuals that is wanting to upgrade my speaker system from stock. I have emailed Pez and he has promptly emailed me back with answers to my questions.
Being a military minded person, I handle issues directly with a person and not on a open forum; unless the issue cannot be resolved by any other means and I have exhaulted all efforts.
Seems that Hogtunes has some overwhelmingly satisfied customers but a handful are unhappy with their results. I would be willing to spend the money on good system and of course customer support is first in my book. If I was to have a speaker that is blown I would want the ability to get warranty support for the item and not the run around.
Being 70 yrs old and on a fixed income .It is hard to stay up with haveing a new Harley, after saying that If I could afford to upgrade my radio on my SG I would buy Hogtunes. Just from reading this forum hogtunes is the best with service and the best buy for the money. I will just keep saving my pennies and skip a meal or two and before I leave this world I will upgrade.
All you young guys your day will also come. Food or Mods.

One thing you have to remember is, there areundoubtedly hundreds of people out there who bought Hog Tunes stuff, love it to death & never bother to post on a site like this.
The few people that are unhappy for whatever reason are the ones that will be the real vocal ones on an internet site (this goes for any product, not just Hog Tunes).
I have been reading about & using HT stuff for a few years now, until this thread I don't remember ever seeing anything negative before (& not matter how hard you try, you can't please some people)
I think my stock speakers sound good. They are loud enough to hear clearly when running 75-80. I would rather upgrade the engine than the speakers. just my opinion.
I'll say it again. I never heard of so many people that havehad problems with a speaker. Hog tunes must have a tremendous amount of warranty claims!!!!!!!
Of all the comments here, the vast majority were in support of HogTunes.......not sure what YOU are reading.....
He is the kind of guy who has to always have whatever the most expensive thing he can find is (he owns TWO CVO bikes)
I will be installing it for him as he has no mechanical ability whatever. Before I install it in his bike, I will temporarily install it in place of my Hog Tunes AMP & see what difference it makes. I already know it will play louder, but it is other differences I will listen for.
I will post the results here & maybe a few sound clips if I have time to fiddle with that.
