Keep an eye out here and on other sites. Folks are always changing mufflers. Over on the CVO site there must be at least three different kinds listed at any given time. As a matter of fact I think someone on this forum is selling a set of used Bassani mufflers right now. Good luck and ride safe. You have 4 reasons to!

Congratulations on the bike. I agree with keeping the stock exhaust, stock. Ya just never know if you will need to reinstall them. I have drag pipes, and though I love the look/sound, they are not a good performing pipe. So, yes, they are cheap, but cheap is usually not good. Look for some used sets, until then, ride safe...

DONT DRILL THEM OUT. I tried it and a friend still has his bike with the drilled out stock mufflers. They rap like a OLD FORD REDNECK PICK UP. I dont have anything against REDNECKS, I'm am one. But I sure as hell dont want my bike to sound like like that.
