Default DTT map needed

I would like to see if anybodt has a map for the DTT and and ultra with Headquarters heads (10.5 /1), 575 cams and CP pistons for a 113" . I have a D&D fat cat w/ performance baffle. I would like to see the a/f & timing tables if nothing else. You can PM me or answer here if it will help anybody else. Went riding yesterday 2 up and had a lot of pinging on slight roll on, have been riding 1 up mostly and only had slight pinging on roll on, but w/ 2 up and NC mountain hills had a lot more than 1 up. I figure I need to add fuel and possibly take out some timing. I am afraid I" take to much timing out of areas I don't need to . Thanks Tim

try taking 2 degrees out of the timing in the areas where there is ping.ride it and let the map adjust, and repeat the process until all ping is gone. that's what i'd do anyways.

Tim,

email me a copy of the MAP in your bike now, without modifying BLM's. You'll have to rename it to a ".txt" file, as dat's will get stripped at my mail server. Still have my email address?

Have you tried riding with a PalmPilot attached and monitored the data while you ride? It is amazingly easy to zero in on problem points with it.

Phil,

Can you let me know how this works?

What PalmPilot is needed, and what cables..................I'm totally dumb when it comes to doing this, but I'm interested in doing it to see how the bike is running and do some on the fly tuning.

It works great!

You need to get a cable from DTT and one other cable from Belkin.

I use a Palm V, I got on ebay for $25. That model is ideal beacuse it uses old style LCD dispaly and it is clear as day, no matter how the sun hits it.

It plugs into the data port that you connect your PC to with PC Link or the Log Software. The application for the plam comes on the DTT CD, but you gotta get one of the cables from DTT.

Hey Tim,
Phil will help you out, I am sure, but are you running the TCFI II or TCFI III system. If the latter,I have a map that I made up for Rob to fire his 120 on and it was pretty darn close. Phil and I both fired on a map I put together for the 120's and we have been tweaking it to where we want it. I cant imagine the 113 being a whole lot different than the 120 at least as far as a starting point.
