Same thing on my police model - has a road glide seat and its quite darn comfy yet looks sweet. Flew to Florida to buy bike and rode back to NH in 2 days, very nice riding.

I went the opposite direction, I bought a take off seat from a 05 roadglide for my 05 electraglide because I wanted to take some of the bulky look out of the rear of the bike, kinda like it that the wife doesnt sit a foot higher than me like with the stock seat, comfortable enough with backrests for us both.

I think the stock seat on both bikes suck.

Bountyhunter: Notice you got a Sundowner on your SG. Was thinking about that seat for my SG but can't decide. Have you any experience riding with Corbin seats? Was wondering how the Sundowner feels compared to the harder Corbins. I guess I'm looking for comfort without getting a puffy/big ugly seat..........
