Anyone got the HD Road King Classic saddlebag liners? How do like them? And how are they holding up? I am thinking about picking up a set, want to do a little traveling this summer on the bike and they look like they would come in handy.
I have a buddy who has a classic and uses the liners. He loves them. He has a rolling t-bag on the sissy bar for weekend trips. He pulls up the slide handle on the t-bag and loops the liner handles over the t-bag handle and wheels the entire bunch into the Hotel. It is a pretty sweet set up. Hope this helps, Gene
I have had mine for 2 years now and they are as handy as a pocket on a shirt. Still look brand new. They have been to Sturgis 2X. 15,000 miles with them in the saddle bags. When you get to a motel, take em right out and carry to your room. I rode in rain last year coming back from Stugis for 300 miles and nothing inside them got wet.
As Harley accessories go these are a great value. I bought them form the dealer although there always on ebay, however not much of a savings after shipping. I bought them for my trip to Stugis last year and they worked out great. They make it real easy to pack and unload the bike while keeping everthing organized. I haven't bought the tour pack liner yet, but I definately will if my wife goes on the next trip.
How many of you leave them in your bags all the time? I have them also but I keep them in the box in the garage untill it is trip time, then I pull them out and use them.
