Default HD amp kit
Has anyone bought this?

Just got mine today to install on 2008 ultra classic. They shipped the instructions for a different kit and I need wire instructions. Part number 76418-06.

Also do you need the extra wiring harness on the Ultra. I bought it and it says non Ultra so I am wondering if it is not needed on the Ultra.

I ran the number and it came out as: Advanced Audio High Output Sound System...? Are you looking for the high amp/gen output or wanting to pump-up your tunes volume?

Installed the amp last night. It does not require the harness as HD says. The Ultra already has this harness on. You just need to pull one connector apart and add two leads for the amp.

Hopefully the dealer will take the harness back.

This is a very easy install. Whole job was two hours. Now that I did it, it would go even quicker.

No wire cutting at all. I installed new speakers while I had them out.

Fired it up in the garage to make sure everything was working and it is loud. Have not tried on the road. Friday will be the first time out so will see how it is at speed.

Mounts under the Tour Pack to existing bolt location. No drilling required. This is an easy install.
