I had just the front speakers for several months until I bought the Hogtunes Ultrasound amp and rear speakers. My opinion is that the speakers are better than stock by quite a bit. Just looking at the size of the magnet says a lot. The hogtunes magnets are several times bigger. For the money, the speakers are a good improvement.

I have heard that almost everything is better. I know from personal experience that J&Ms are better and that Hogtunes are better than J&M.I also use the upgraded HD amp for the 03 year Ultra which improves eitherSPEAKER SYSTEMeven more.I am sure some of the later amps by J&M,HD,Hogtunes and their 6 speaker system as well as Hawgwired is better still.I recently tested with my own ear the Hogtunes with my HD amp on my own bike against an Ultra Screaming Eagle which supposedly has better speakers than the normal Ultra and comes with a 160 watt amp. My older hd amp of 80 Watts with the Hogtunes still blew the SE bike away.So my customer is ordering Hogtunes for his new Ultra SE. His SE with the Hogtunes then should blow me away since he will be running twice as much power.
