I was wondering how many 07 owners who have added the IDS have re-torqued to 80lbs from 60. I think this service bulletin was for 08's. I know there has been discussion on whether this applies to 07's or is just an 08 problem. Has anyone checked with their dealerships to see if this applies to 07's with the added IDS?
I had dealer add IDS to my '07 Ultra. They called MOCO but could not get a good straight answer. They told them to just check the torque when bike is in for service. Dealer thinks it must just aplly to the '08's then. They are still checking with MOCO on regular basis to see if anything changes.
So you are keeping yours at 60lbs. then? I have a feeling if I call my dealer they are not gonna know. When they say 'just have the torque checked at regular services', is that just to see if they are loose? If not loose then keep them at 60lbs?
Here is the bulletin and how it reads.

Which bolts are they talking about? The ones you can see when you remove the hard bag?
Those five bolts (hex screws) are made to stretch when torqued down and need to be replaced any time they are removed. If you're going to loosen and retorque them yourself, I'd use a new set.
