No worries at 110,000 and dont plan on a top end till maybe at 150k. Doesnt even burn oil. Guess I'm a lucky one.

This is funny - someone posts in early 2008 that a 2008 engine screws up after 40k. That's a troll post surely. This is now a zombie troll.

(YES I KNOW THIS IS AN OLD THREAD!!! But considering I'm still riding a twin cam 96ci, I feel this is relevant for someone interested)
My '08, (bought it new with 10 miles on it), had 32000+ miles on it with nothing but routine maintenance and tires, never so much as a hiccup, rode it in all weather conditions, long hauls and and heavy stop and go traffic. I traded it last year for an '09 fatboy with (then) 11000, miles on it, a year later it has 22,500 miles on it and I've only replaced the tires and oil. I do my own maintenance and ride it hard and it has yet to let me down at all. Twin Cam 96ci? Yeah, I like it. in fact, I plan on staying with the twin cam 96 for a loooong time.

Runs great... I have 2009 ultra... close to 50k on mine and the only problem I had was a stator started leaking last year.. Replaced stator hope it keeps going for a 100K....on the 96 engine. Been running Mobile 1 20-50 V-twin for the last 30k.. don't want to start a thread about oil....just saying......

I bet the buds ride Honda's and can't afford a Harley so they have to have something to talk about.

Old 2008 post revived, I'll jump in, 75k of trouble free miles on 09 Ultra. Rock solid.

Almost 50,000 on my 96 CI. No problems at all.

The 96 has all the upgrades the 103 has, without the additional cost. It's an excellent engine. I have an 08 with 25K. Absolutely no issues.
