The 517's fit me perfectly at 5'8", 32" reach. You might consider the 513 bars which are wider and, I believe, have less pullback. I had them on for awhile but found them too wide.

If you aren't happy with your seat, change that first. The new seat might push you back and allow your 517's to work for you. I really like the 517s.

Quick primer for changin' bars on a Road Glide: For Heritage or WideGlide bars go to your dealer & hold both bars up to your bike while sittin' on the seat. They have different wrist angles, so pick the one you're most comfortable with. The aftermarket bars,.......a little more difficult to try before you buy........<shrug>
To change the bars, remove the tach/speedo cluster, trim the plastic away from the bottom clamp bolts (the tach/speedo cluster will cover it), unbolt the old bars, bolt the new ones on. Pretty simple.
