I am wanting to add a EFI controller and breather kit to open this bike up some. I have ScreamingEagle slip ons and was thinking of going with Cobra EFI and Screaming eagle Heavy Breather. Will this work? Will it work well?
Thanks to all who post here...best information anywhere!!!!!
Check the thread (long!) over on the Electrical/Ignition etc. Tech Forum about the NightRider IED/XIED device. Might save you some $$$ on fuel management systems.

+1 on that.
I installed the NR IED's on my 07 RG it seems to run better on the open road, andcooler than it used to be, I dont know how much but the temp sensor (leg) says its a difference. I was going to put on a set of pipes/mufflers, true duels maybefor a different sound but I think now that thetemps are down a bit, and it runs good......I am going to leave it alone and ride the hell out of it!
ETA, By the way the Night Rider IED's was the best 70 bucks spentso far, and very easy to install. It took all of10 minutes I think.
+2 on the IED's. I just switched from the IED to XIED. Wanted a bit more cooling. If you're not planning on any engine mods it's the most cost effective way to go. I'm running true duals also with no adverse effects. Plan to go with a better air filter when I decide which one to buy. Go to the fuel injection section and check out the thread. Better pack a lunch though, you'll be in there awhile!
+3 on the XIED's ( do I hear a +4?) I'm running duels, SE A/C, and 2" rush slip ons and was trying to figure out what fuel management device I wanted and came across that thread and I'm damn happy I did. The bike runs great, nice throttle response, cooler, even sounds better. Easily the best hundo I've spent on my RG
