Try a search w/ "service bulletins", there was a link somewhere in these pages to a website that had some factory SBs listed. Not very impressed with that HK, IÂ´m on my 2nd unit and since my 06 SGs warranty expires on June IÂ´ll tossthis HKin the dumpster if this unit quits as the previous one did (had problems w/ cd, it was playing ok but sound went on and off, others have stated problems w/ cd skipping etc.). This unit also skips sometimes, but usually only for a couple of times when its cold weather and IÂ´ve just started to ride, maybe needs a little warm-up os something...

Then itÂ´s time to find a better one, I think some have changed to Sony?

Edit:Try this one, not sure if that HK is there...

check your software version.. mine was 8.19 and I had the radio cutting out for 3 or 4 seconds at a time..

I downloaded version 8.09 and now it works fine.

do a search on either software or harmon kardon.. someone posted the link to the software versions and also how to do it

thanks for all the input,did all the firmware upgrades,and also when the audio goes out its out untll you reset by shuting down or flipin the speaker switch on the dash....oh you guys ROCK and thanks
