my boots are melting !!!!
Apparently i need spacers on my footboards, my right side pipe has a nice black mark from riding all day yesterday!!
it is right in between where the 2 heat sheilds are on the bend right by the back of the footboard.
First how the heck do you get it off?? do i have toget it hot again to get it off or will goo gone work.
Secondly how do i keep from doing that while I ride?
I try to keep my feet on the highway pegs as much as possible, but in town that isnt very safe...
anyone else experince this kind of problem??!!??!?!?!?!?!?!

I put one of the Kuryakyn heel guards on my right floorboard....just kind of a chrome rod that keeps your heel from riding up against the pipe.....works good for me.

I did the floorboards spacers and the heel guard. works like a dream. I went with the turn down guard instead of the one that wraps around the heel. still gives me lots of room on the board for my feet.
