08 Ultra with 2600 miles. No problems with FBW. I do notice a difference. IT'S MUCH BETTER WITHOUT CABLES!

No delay at all. I suspect any perceived delay is more a result of motor, clutch, or riding style issues.

08 Standard over 11,000 miles, went to Amsoil MCV 20-50 in the motor and transmission and SVO 75-140 in the transmission. I think I have more power in the 08 than the 07 bike. The 08 Touring has a 51mm throttle body. Keep the RPM's at 2200 and above till you have 5000 miles on it and it starts loosing up.
Yer gonna love the 08 bike.
Just give it time to break in. Keep it on the road and ride the heck out of it.

Brought the Ultra home Saturday. There is a very slight hesitation when I try an blip the throttle. Other than that, she's perfect!

Just got new 08 Ultra, definately runs better and cooler with the PCIII, Big Sucker and Screaming Eagle mufflers. Just twist the throttle and go[8D]
