The scala rider Q2 bluetooth is excellent, however it is not cheap and you will need two of them. It works so well that I haven't bothered to try out the wired one that comes with my Ultra yet..

+1 for the Scala! We don't have the newer Q2, just the older Team Rider system. It works great with my Zumo, my phone, & as an all day intercom for the wife & I. I did look at the new Q2 the other day at The Helmet Shop. I'm impressed with the built in radio, bike to bike capability, & backwards compatability. Told the wife that if she wanted radio, we'd get her a Q2 but she declined.

I've an Autocom and I am very satisfied : http://www.autocomamerica.com/

not cheap but very good and you can do a lot. I connect my GPS (Zumo 550).

I can talk to my wife (passenger or on her bike), listen to mp3 (Zumo), hear GPS voice. I also have the possibiityfor hand free phone.

I use the Camos BH600 $200/helmet, good sound and each unit can hook up to its own phone & mp3 player as well as talk to each other.

Ya know, I can talk normal and she can hear me. She needs to raise her voice for me, I'm old and don't hear well, but she does have to overcome air flow. That said, a buddy of mine used to wear those foam ear plugs to eliminate the rushing air sound. Being and engineer he stillwanted to hear engine sounds without the wind noise. He started playing by drilling holes in the earplugs, adding some thin tubing to a "y" connection, sort of like a stethoscope. He discovered he could control sound very well. Ok, what am I getting at? He made a set of ear plugs, tubes in both, "y" connector near the back of his neck. When the passenger speaks, he hears them like a living room conversation. Cost, probably under $1.00. When he wants to talk back the air flow takes care of his voice. Pretty slick for function.

I've got the AUTOCOM Active-Plus System....works great, integrates into the RG Stereo, GPS and FRS Radio. A little pricey but well worth the expense...

My wife smacks me up side the head and then says her piece.
I got tired of the slap on the helmet and I started to slap back...but that's another story!!
