The 08 touring seats are peices of sheite anyhow, you wouldn't want it....
I rented an 08 classic e-glidein vegas a month ago and loved the seat. Very comfortable. I rode 300 milesin one day with zero pain to my tailbone. The seat thats on my 07 starts to hurt me after 50 -60 miles. I wish I could swap one for the other.
No, the pre 08's had a tab on the seat that fit in a hole in the frame, the 08's are opposite, tab on the frame with the hole for the tab in the seat pan.

I have an 03 RG seat on my 08 RG. It fit's,needs some minor alterations that I may or may not get around to some day. The pre 07 RG seat IS the most comfortable factory seat HD has ever put on any stock bike. And I stand by my earlier statement, the08 touring seats are terrible, I couldn't walk for days after even short 30-40 mile rides... They are cheap, the foam is the cheapest stiff ever and that bar that sticks up that goes across between the rider and passenger seat cut straight into my tailbone. Can't use the earlier seats if you have ABS because you have to move the ECM to use the older seats.
