Ive tried the HD non adjustable, the HD adjustable, and the Mustang.

Mustang wins hands down.

I could not get either of the HDs anywhere close to far enough back to be comfortable. Even with doing things like putting spacers under the front of the bracket to tilt it back further. They both sat me bolt upright, almost made me feel like I was being shoved into the fairing. The thing I found is that at least for me, they both felt good IN THE STORE, but after only a few miles on the road, I knew I needed it to be tilted back further.

The mustang has just as much tilt adjustment, if not more, as the HD adjustable, and cost less. The HD adjustable is also VERY thick, and will really crowd your passenger by comparison to the Mustang.

I have a Corbin Classic Solo with the back rest on my SG. It was the first thing I purchased. I had one on a Fat Boy and thought I would just use it for long rides. It never came off till I sold it (same backrest fits my SG) eight years latter. It's kind of like wearing a seat belt in your car, once you get used to it, it doesn't feel right without it, and way more comfortable.
