On the brink of getting a GPS and looking for some input on mounting. I know there are a variety of options but, I want something that looks good and CLEAN when it is not on the bike. Preferably chrome and nothing obtrusive or "sticking up" if there is such a thing. Any input and pics appreciated!
No, it's a Streetpilot c580. NOT waterproof so I wanted to tuck it up under the windshield somehow. Bought a cheap 3 pouch on eBay and started cutting. I little velcro here and there and it's solid as a rock. I just cover it up with the top when I park it, looks like any other closed pouch. I ran the wiring up in front of the bags and it goes down into the fairing at the left edge of the windshield.
I got one but haven't installed it yet. My plan is to run it to the battery, mount the RAM 1" ball in the socket and be able to power the ZUMO easily and remove it simply when I don't need it or for security. I also had Powerlet build me a short power cable into the ZUMO.
