Yeow, what a bunch of pages... "04 EGC w/ 204's, White bros heads and old SE slipons, big sucker, running the HD0800 cleaner from K&N... Doin' about 77hp/81lb-ft and avg about 43mpg. Pulls real nice up to 6200, no pinging on non-ethanol fuel(we can still get it here sometimes in FL) and the HD Duralt additive runs the ethanol fuel adequately..... yeah, right...
Been a good scoot, lookin' to big bore, as I'm approaching 50k and haven't done cam chain tensioners(yeah, I friggin' know!!!) and am looking at a whole pkg, pondering gear drives, etc... Been an awesome bike for a trucker, put 20k on since 10/08 and know I'm approaching the "service limit" but wtf...? I can put big inches in there for a coupleG more if I frag it havin' fun today, no? Yo.... anyone need to hire me?
Seriously, 88" can be made to perform well enough if you take the time, but kickin' it up, makin' it breathe, and then tweakin' it for personal pleasure makes all the difference....
New to the site but all internet searches end up here. I have an 08 FLHT at the recommendation of friends I purchased the V&H Big Shot True Duals and SE Stage I air cleaner. Being that the bike has the drive by wire throttle; no one can give me advice on the fuel pak; I don't anticipate additional mods to motor; so any thoughts? The advice I get is "depends on how much you want to spend?" WTF?
Thundermax, V&H, Harley, Dynojet?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
