I really don't mean to critique your build and tune but seems very lazy down low, especially for a 106 with ported heads and a 58mm TB. I'd get myself another dyno tuner. Something just not right with your combo. There's more to be had there if you can find someone to pull it out !!!!

Not intentionally ruffling feathers, but thinking out loud...

Dyno time and bagger just doesn't feel right to me. I've done plenty of mods over the years on my bikes, but never put one on the dyno.

I'd like to know what kind of gains some have had and if they feel the cost is well worth it?mhow hard is it on the bike?

Recently installed rinehart extreme true duals, SE extreme billet ventilator and SE pro tuners on my 15 RK. Dyno tune results HP 83.25 and torque 103.99. Slight bump in numbers from stock, now looking at other things for mor HP and torque.

My guess is it is a lot harder on the bike to run around for thousands of miles with a bad tune than a couple of hours on the dyno.... Just my thoughts

That's what my builder told me. It's really hard to find an experienced tuner that's good with PV most tuners near me are good with TTS. I was also told the pipes could very well be the weak link. The bike runs well for now and don't notice the torque drop and bike has good manners. I will be moving to Lansing Michigan in April and hope there are more tuners in that area. I really appreciate all the info and help I can get.

Stage one air cleaner, Cat removed, Supertrapp Stout mufflers and HD Pro tuner. 84.3HP, 106 FT lbs. torque. Well worth the money to have a proper tune.

Decided to dyno the bike after moving from the Seattle area to the Denver area. Figured with a 6000 foot change in elevation it might help the bike run a little better. Baseline numbers were 66HP at 5300RPM and 84TQ at 3200RPM. After dyno 78.5HP at 4900RPM and 101.9TQ at 3300RPM. Smoother throttle response and less decel pop. Will be interesting to see how it impacts the running temp. Not a bad return for a $300 investment.
