Default Speaker Problems............................

I have an 06 EGC and when I first bought (used) it had stock speakers and the left one was blown. I bought another stock pair off of E-Bay, and the left one blew again. I bought a pair of JBL's, and now the left one is blown....what gives??? I have a pair of Hogtunes being delivered today and was wondering if there is something I need to watch for while installing them or is it just coincedence, that its always the left one?? It is a stock HK Radio with no amp.

If that was happening to me, I'd be getting busy with tracing out the wires, checking the factory schematic in the service manual and running down any issues with a multimeter.

It seems coincidental to me. As a person who retired after working 40 years in the Electronics field, it is almost impossible for a wiring problem to blow your speakers. If the speakers sounded ok after installation there is no practical reason for them blowing. I'll bet the hog tunes will work great.
