Default RE: changing loillpops to bullets!

I installed these last year on my 06 Road King. If you're just doing the fronts, they're pretty easy. Take your time disassembling the nacelle to get at the wiring. The headlight trim ring mounting screw really likes to fight you - be careful and don't strip it! The rears, however, are a royal PITA, they are mounted using allen bolts that are recessed into the rear turn signal bar. Because of their location (and the fact that I have meat hooks for hands), it took FOREVER to remove/replace even using a ball-end allen wrench.

Usual disclaimer: Make sure you have the service manual for your bike, the instructions that came with my bullets made referrences to wiring diagrams and disassembly procedures in the manual.
