I dont know if this helps but I have and adapter that I use. It is like a cell phone charger and it plugs into the ipod. Then I plug it into the cig lighter. No battery worries then. You can pivk them up on ebay or any number of ebay retailers really cheap
The thing I like about an MP3 cd over the iPod is the ability to use your handle bar controls. (and trust me I'm a HUGE iPOD fan, so much so, that I'm thinking about replacing the HK radio on my '07 UG with something that truely supports the iPod).
However, since making a few 100+ song MP3 disks, I'm pretty happy. The radio will show you the song name and artist on MP3 disks, you can choose the random function so it doesn't play your songs in order. You can easily skip a song with the handle bar controls...etc.
I use an iPod and Cds. The CDs are just so easy and out of the way that I use them the most. A CD will easily hold around 150 songs.
1) Insert a blank CD in your computer.
2) In iTunes, select a playlist or group of songs.
3) In the lower right corner of iTunes, click on the button that says Burn MP3 Disc.
Thanks guys... got the cd's burned. Actually went to "help" in the i-tunes software and they had a nice instructions set that I just printed and followed.
Also, was at staples today and bought a cord that plugs into my cigarette lights and then into the I-Pod so the short battery life on the old Nano is no longer an issue. Great, now that I already bought a new Nano... such is life.
