Mornin' Guys. Thanks to all for the responses on the footwear. What's so great about this site is hearing "the tried and true" versions as opposed to the salesperson opinions.
Now for a question in regards to the "heel - toe" shifter levers.
Does anyone know of a single piece shifter lever that works well ona bagger (2003 Classic)?
Again, if you do, will you supply the "Where to purchase" information.
Much Appreciated.

Are you just wanting to get rid of the heel shifter? Is so just remove it, if you want various companys make a cap to put on the spline or just leave it there.
If you are wanting a heel, toe shifter that is one piece then you will have trouble as everyone likes to adjust theres to there fit.
If you are looking to go to a single shift arm, whatI do is take the heel shifter off and move the toe shifter out.Iusea chrome spacer that installs where your now black spacer is that has the additional length to take up the space where the second arm was. These spacers come with a wave washer to keep the assembly from rattling.
I don't think you will find a one piece heel/toe shifter. Most often riders have the shifters set at different angles and not parralel with one another.
actually the one that comes with the wcc beartrap floorboards is one piece, but i took my heel shifter off and just run the toe shifter adjusted up a little, fits my size 18 feet better than tripping over the heel shifter
As others have said. Just remove the back ( heal ) shifter...Harley makes the cap to cover the splines...Look at the fixed up models in the MoCo parts catalog, most have the heal shifter taken off! I did this upon getting mine home...personal preference more foot room to slide back and forth!
Try the New Way Shifter, www.newwayshifter.com. With this you remove your heal shifter and bolt on the new assembly so you now have two shift levers that all you do is push down to shift. The inside lever is for down shifting and the outside lever is for upshifting. Takes about 30 minutes to install and a few short rides to learn. Gives you more floorboard space and an easier way to shift.
I adjusted my toe shifter to be parallel to the heel shifter. Did see a 1 piece shifter in a catalog. Think it was JP Cycles.I just figured since mine work that theres no need to change it. I would hate not having the heel shifter.
