Default Upper Tins on front forks.

Just had some chrome lowers and upper tins put on at a shop recently and notice one of the tins are on backward with the seam facing out. The shop said to bring it back and they would change it. My question is can I just take out the two screws in the top of the upper tin and just pivot it 180 degrees or is there more to it than that? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks

Tuna

First off WOW!!!!!!!You have got to be kidding me?????

How in the hell could that of been missed? That's pretty bad.....

I wouldn't ever go back to that shop again.
OK back to your question I don't think you can just undo the bolt without removing a lot of stuff. I know when I did mine on my Road King a few months ago I had to remove the headlight assembley. I would think on your bike you'd have to do the same. If I remember correct the front wheel, fender, and fork legs have to be removed also. Good luck...

If you can reach the 2 mounting screws, then YES, it should just spin around. I would think that the most you'd have to remove would be the outer fairing, passing lamps and the lower chrome piece directly behind the passing lamp bar.
