well went riding saturday to clear my head it was 36 degrees out its funny how you can get on your bike and forget everday problems my wife telss me she wants a divorce and she s staying with a friend the funny part is when i was riding i didnt even think about it till i parked my bike that night if only the weather would get above 32 degrees again i could go clear my head again this is pretty rough just sitting in this house in the winter time i need some warmth and sun because i pretty sure that me and my wife are gonna go through with this divorce which i dont want but we have just lost touch with each other and i cant make her happy.
Not a cool thing to happen in your life....but remember...at least 50% of marriages end in divorce. You are not unique. Take the bike, head for some warmer climate, have a few coldies, check out some new 'stuff', and keep moving. Don't feel sorry for yourself, move on. *hit happens, buck it up! Best to you.
I agree with Bill 100%. I can speak from experience saying alot of us have gone through that. We are still here and life will go on. It is a natural desire to spend life with another. Just remember your personal happiness is as imprtant as anyone elses, if not more. So hang in there and just speak up if things get too bad, one of us will be here. Good luck!
Hang in there bud. Ive been there done that and it sucks. But like the guys are telling you, time heals all and it will pass and get better. The sound of a Harley is a great way to clear your head, just be safe, Rob.
bonez, I cant belive the timing of this. I go to pick up my bike today. And decided to stop by my girlfriends bussiness. I no sooner walk in the door she says its over. I am like what brought this on. Been seeing her for 2 years. Although I am not married. I been there and tried that. And it was cold riding in Chicago today. Hang in there better days are comming. Bob.
Sorry to hear about the heartbreak guys. Believe us when we say it gets better with time and guess what??? The next lady will be alot better. I went thru this about 3yrs ago and yanno what? Best thing that ever happened to me. I got a lady now that loves everything I do and even rides her own bike.
Try to hook up with some freinds, believe me it helps ALOT!!
Sorry to hear my brother. Iam sure you got alot invested in your marriage, but guess what, alot of us (me included) went thru the same crap.
Hold your head up and move on with your life. Believe me, when I say it gets better, alot better!
I've never been happier than Iam today
There's not much more I can add to what the guys are saying. There are some good people on this forum, we all feel your pain. things always work out for the best, you will see. Just give it time. I garantee you'll eventually meet someone that will make your life better than it ever was in the past. Hang in there and ride! You know there are some of us that are locked in, for whatever reason, (maybe just plain lazyness) and can't get out of a relationship that is causing misery. Look at it this way; you're one of the lucky ones, you can paint on a NEW canvas and create anything you want!
