Default Help choosing highway pegs

I need to find a good set of highway pegs, this will be for an 05 electraglide classic. Im 6' 5 inches and 240 lbs. Normal highway pegs dont look like they will work for me, I need them to extend about 3 -4 inches past the engine guard so I can stretch out some. What do you recommend? Thanks

I am getting the Adjustable Highway Peg Mounting Kit 360 degree, 50832-07. These not only seem like they will provide and endless amount of hieght and distace adjustments, but they look like I will be able to tuck away my pegs whilethe bike rests in the garage. I had fixed position mounts on my Roadking, that left several marks on my legs as well as cause my teenaged kids to laugh as I droped son of a ..... and even an F bomb while trying to drive my leg through my Hwy pegs. I am getting them tomorrow, so I will let you know how they work out. I also plan on putting lowers on in the fall, so I am interested in the most flexible type I can find.

Sounds good, let me know how it works out. What type of pegs are you getting? Can you basically install whatever type you want with this kit? Found the kit your talking about for $89 but doesnt include the pegs. Thanks

I am running the Kuryakyn Switch Blade pegs p/n 4445. They have a heel rest that will flip up to be hidden if wanted. I love them b/c you have options for changing foot position. I am 6' tall and I have them on my ultra and they are perfect. If you really wanted to get them out further you could get extentions through Kuryakyn as well>

At your height you might even do just fine with no offset - straight mount off of the engine guard. At a little over 5'9" the ones you are planning on getting fit me just right.

I jst run a set of cheap highway pegs on my crash bars. I put em real low and use them like forward controls. I can rest my heel on the runnin'vboard and my toes on the pegs. Or use the whole foot out far if I want to. Of course I ain't 6'5" tall either but it works...

I use the kuryakan longhorn offset pegs. Give you a few inches past the engine guard. I am 6'3" and they are perfect with room available.
