I just installed vance and hines dresser duals...Then \\;I put \\;my porker slipons back on the bike and for some reason they will not stay in one place...when I run the bike for a short time they move back just a tad...the reason I know they are \\;moving back \\;is because I marked the bracket that holds the slip ons.. located under the bag... \\;but I am worried if I go on a long ride if they will slide off \\;...the clamps are new and I got the clamps as tight as they will go..is there something im missing here \\; \\; thanks
replace your clamps for some new HD clamps. \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\; check and retighten a couple of times and you'll be set. \\; The V&\\;H clamps are junk.

Make sure you position the clamps on the end of the muffler inside the slits that are there to help with tightening to the headpipe. I had the same problem with my previous mufflers. If the clamps are too far back, your clamping on solid pipe diameter.
\\; And too the HD clamps are better than aftermarket exhaust clamps.

+1 \\; Had the exact problem. I moved the clamp to the very edge of the muffler pipe and now it's fine.
In case the mufflers are larger than the head pipe you can take a beer/coke can and cut it in strips then wrap around the headpipe. This will seal the 2 together and the pipe will tighten up. Usually if you do like others has said, use the HD clamp at the end of the muffler the problem will be solved.
