I have a 99 ultra I just changed the stator 7,000 miles ago, yesterday I was caught in a nasty rain storm and now the battery isn't charging.&nbsp\\; could the stater have gotten moisture in it and fried.&nbsp\\; any thing else I can check, I couldn't emagine for the stator to be bad already. I had it replaced with a harley davidson part.

 

How old is the battery?&nbsp\\; Anything much over 3-4 years could be the battery.&nbsp\\; Could also be the voltage regulator.&nbsp\\; I would have a shop (indy or HD) check out the system, they can easily isolate which piece is causing the problem.
