My buddy and I have 2008 RoadKing Classics. With the new larger wider gas tank, we decided to install floorboard extenders. The kits we got from Harley Goodies are perfect. The quality of the product and hardware are 100%. We put my bike on the jack and in 15-20 minutes had both sides done. A great improvment. The we put my buddys bike on the jack. The \\;right side went on in a few minutes. \\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;Then we went to remove the 2 bolts on the \\;left side ( one bolt is threaded in from the back). The bolt that is threaded from the back was not only missing, but the hole in the frame had never even been drilled. Luckily we have a well equipped shop...drilled the hole...and used the bolt supplied, to complete the job.
\\;\\\\\\; I would recommend checking your bike, as the bolt that is missing carries the most stress of the 4 bolts that \\;\\\\\\;attach the kickstand to the frame.
Just so I get the picture right....a bike comes down the HD assembly line...a worker has 4 bolts in his hand to attach the kickstand...when he gets done there is still 1 bolt in his hand. I would think that this indicate that something is wrong. Nah !!!!!
The quality build leaves much to be desired. \\; All my harleys had loose tank bolts, etc.

You have to go around and tighten all the bolts that you can get to....
