This is for those folks using the A/N Big Sucker a/c. Are you experiencing any oil drips from the engine burping through the breathers? Everytime I do a trip 100 miles or longer I get a pool of oil between the pushrods and it blows back against the exhaust pipe and my passengers leg. Anyone else experiencing this? Thanks.
Thanks John, I thought I had read some posts about this but I had similar setup on my 01 RK and didn't have the "drips" or at least not that I noticed. Thanks
I fold up a paper towel and place it between the inside \\;bottom of the football and the air filter\\; it sucks up the dripping oil and I change the towel every week or two. I also remove the filter and wipe the puddle that forms on the edge of the throttle body...that's also a good time to check the bolts holding the air cleaner on for tightness...

I got tired of the barfing with my K-N and bought Fuel Moto's new AC, which is basically an HD SE with a cleanable element. This design uses plastic tubes to channel the oil into the throttle body, and there should be no more oil dripping with it. Here's a pic below. I plan on doing a write-up as soon as they fix this forum\\\\\\; i.e., if they fix it. The K-N just let the oil drip inside the filter onto the filter element, which soon became soaked and dripped wherever gravity and the wind took it.
What I did with the K-N that works to some degree is place a piece of foam rubber between the element and cover at the bottom. This soaks up the oil, but every month or so you'll need to squeeze the oil out.
Doesn't K&\\;N or Arlen Ness make a replacement element that will fit that SE backplate? \\;\\\\\\; I have the 3909 as well and like the oil/gauze setup, but liked the tubes from the SE plate.
No drips from mine on my 07 RG. I have heard that it will happen if the engine is even a little over full. I keep mine just a little below the line when the oil is hot.
