Does anyone use a toll transponder on their Ultra? I threw mine from the car into the glovebox on the lower fairing but it didn't read going through the tolls. Anyone have it somewhere else?
I keep \\;it in my pocket and put back in pouch when done \\; lost 1 \\;on the thuway \\; . Should you had a differant one for you \\;bike ?? \\; \\; \\; in ny \\; you need one for each ride \\; \\; they charge per axle
I had a conversation with a guy at the Mass Pikes "Fast Lane" operations center about this.
I was drivin my wifes Porsche and I held the transponder from my car up and out the left side window as I went thru and it did't read.
I have had this problem with both bikes too.
I was told for the transponder to read, it has to be in the area to the right of the rear view mirror, up high, with the unit mounted with the up arrow in the right direction.
The Fast Lane ( EZ Pass) guy said that they have lots of problems with bikes.
I have seen some holders for the transponders online that might work on my bagger, but I have seen nothing that would work on the rice bike.

For ILL I-Pass..you can register mulitple vehicles on one transponder...
In N. TX, it does not matter if it miss-reads, as long as you have a toll tag registered to the license plate of the vehicle. The toll authority told me that a hhigh percentage of all toll tags miss-read. All they do is run your tag and if it's registered, they zap your acct. I have not even carried my tag with me for the last couple years, for that very reason.
I usually put mine in one of the leather pouches on top of my fairing. \\; Last time I used it I forgot to get it out of my side bags. \\; It worked there as well.
