Last weekend I put a new set of bars on my 2008 Road King Classic. I love the bars

, but could do without the issue I have created. we extended all the wiring and everything execpt the throttle works fine. But it doe not have the same acceleration &amp\\; the engine light is on. I pulled the codes and here they are, P1510, P2127, P2138. At first I thought it had to be the throttle wiring. But I don't know how it could run this well if the wiring was all screwed up. The really confusing one is that when I have the clutch in and the brake applied it will not rev much at all. But if I let off the brake it revs fine.

HELP!

I forgot to add the cruise control issue.&nbsp\\; It turns on but will not set.

I would guess that you either crossed a wire when doing the extension, or one or more of the wire is shorting to ground.

The 1510 is ECM set to low performance mode.&nbsp\\; 2138 is TGS is low/open.&nbsp\\; Your pin outs from the TBW are not making proper contact.&nbsp\\; Check your wiring and ensure the pins are fully seated in the plug and the plugs are fully seated together.&nbsp\\; Then cycle your ignition 4 times without starting nor touching the throttle.&nbsp\\; Then hold in your speedo reset button and turn on the bike...clear your codes.&nbsp\\; Turn off and then turn back on and restart and see if that fixes it.

I installed a set of 14 s on my 06 road king custom and had the engine lite come on. blew a fuse to the dash lights ... everything else worked fine. I replaced the fuse , now its all good except the engine lite stays on. any thoughts?? you said you pulled the codes on yours , How do I do that to find out what mine is doing??&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; thanks for any help

man I don't know anything about 08 models, however, I read a thread on here that you cannot extend the throttle wires. I assume you have fly by wire and not throttle cables. when you extend the throttle wires it does something to the system and they don't work and cause all kinda of problems. anyway, I hate when people say this, try doing a search about extending the wires on an 08. hope you work it out.
