Just had Kuryakin ISO grips installed yesterday on my 08' RG. Normally would put them on myself but they offered to put them on for free. Noticed today that the throttle does not return by itself. Anybody got any suggestions? T.
Another possibility is the throttle cables are \\;not adjusted correctly after they put on your new grips. \\;

In case your interested, I put on the ISO grips last year. \\; I really like the look and how they feel.

When I did mine had the same problem. Loosen up the control and move the grip out just \\; a tiny bit worked for mine it was bottoming out on the bars hopes this helps.
yup,
throttle friction stop not installed correctly or already "set"
 \\;
i had to sand off so rough edges where the cables aligned and had to be careful about the cable housing.took an extra hr to get all the binding out
 \\;
good grips though
All the above, plus...

Someone mentioned in an earlier thread to lube the handlebar under the throttle sleave. I've never had to do that but - it makes sense.
This morning I loosend the housing and slid the whole thing about 1/16 inch out. Fixed the problem. I think when the guy installed it he pushed everything all the way too far in and then tightened up the housing. The grip must have been putting to much pressure against that sensor that is in the end of the handlebar. T.
