I was at the dealer today and saw an 07 road king police edition. After sitting and looking at it for a while, I decided that I really love the way the pucks are used to open the saddlebags. I currently own a Street Glide (FLHX). Has anyone changed the way their saddlebags open? I put the LED spoilers on my bags, so I'd hate to buy a new set of bags. I'm \\;looking for some different ideas to ease the saddlebag opening process. Thanks in advance.
Probably the best way to mod your bags would be to buy a used set of police bags off of ebay and move your spoilers over.
When you go to sell your bike , odd are the police bags won't be a good selling point.
check out www.baddad.com they have a internal remote hinged bags \\;that open like the cop bags but no hardware on the out side but ........$$$ look out
Replace your bags with a used set of police bags paint to match, Swap over spoilers. Remove pucks and install chrome push button openers in there place. Save the original bags for sale with bike, someday.
