Awsome speaker combo
 \\;Well I'am new and have been reading many post on speaker upgrades. I have a 08 Electra Glide Std and a good friend of mine ownes a top of the line \\;car audio shop. I brought my bike in for suggestions on what I need for some good sounds. This is the ticket. A pair of 5 1/2 Kicker low to mid range subs mounted in the fairing speaker holes and a pair of tweeters mounted just above and to the middle of the two big guages. Most good radios have 40 to 50 watts per channel.He put a speaker on each channel and with a little F R and L R adjustment it sounds awsome!!! Came home and blew my neighbor away with his OEM HD radio.Just a different spin on the croud who wants a big difference with a lot more bass in their tunes. 5 1/2 Kicker $100.00, Good set of Tweeters $89.00 any good radio with MP3, ect. $150 to ?

A little more detail, please? Is this with the HK radio? Are the speakers weather proof? Which speakers, EXACTLY? More info please. I've been thinking about HogTunes, but that's a LOT of $!

No its acually a Clarion radio rated at 50 watts per channel. And all new high end speakers are polypropoline(may have missspelled that one) they are just as good as " marine speakers". Look Hogtunes and all the others are great but if you want more tump, find a high end audio shop and tell them what you want. They may have even a better combo. If more bikers will search for great sounds this board will fill up with awsome combos. Just read the boards all the speaker upgrades say yea they are good speakers but I wanted more. go to the people who have the knowledge.
