If your willing to dump a few thousand more above list price to get your Harley running proper then go for it, If you are will to be over charged for the bike and all accesories then buy the harley
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;\\\\\\\\\\\\\\;
My suggestion is to stick with what you have or a new Honda it is twice the tourer the harley is regardless of what they say on here most are caught up in the nostalgia aspect of the Harley and cannot be honest&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Oh and they are caught up in the chrome and add on BS
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
the only plus to a Harley is most of us can work on it
&nbsp\\;
Why are there always people on this forum bashing HD's and trying to justify their ownership of Honda or some other bike.&nbsp\\; Do Harley owners go on the Honda forums to bash them??&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
If you want a Harley or ride a Harley or are thinking about it, fine.&nbsp\\; But keep your bashing out.&nbsp\\; Nobody gives a #%!@#% what you think.&nbsp\\; I ride my Road Glide because I love it, not because of anyone else's opinion of it.
&nbsp\\;
And like the earlier post said, every Japanese manufacturer is trying to COPY Harley.&nbsp\\; They've been trying for decades... good luck.

Unless you want to own a Harley, keep the Wing.&nbsp\\; Like others have said, there's more to riding a HD than just riding a bike.&nbsp\\; Harley's have got a uniqueness all their own.&nbsp\\; The Wing's probably a better touring bike in every way, but it ain't a Harley.&nbsp\\; It's the difference between plastic and metal, between a car engine and a Vtwin, between Asia and America, between riding an inanimate object and riding something that loves the road.&nbsp\\; It's hard to explain, bro.&nbsp\\; Good luck in your decision.

I had a 1500 wing loved it great bike for long rides. But it lacked SOUL i now have and electraglide standared and i love it. this bike has SOUL so if you riding that wing thinking it is missing something thats it it just lacks soul. Like has been said rent an EG ride it and then deside. I have never looked backed.

They are bitter, angry, little people known in the cyber world as Trolls.&nbsp\\; They're unhappy and can't&nbsp\\;understand why&nbsp\\;everyone else is not likewise.&nbsp\\; They tend to flame on&nbsp\\; and on&nbsp\\; and on.....

A guy I now ride with just sold his wing and now has an Ultra.
He tells me the Ultra is way more comfortable to ride as his feet were under him and due to the fairing he couldnt put his feet out. Had to go WAY outside the fairing. Where a Bagger your feet are in a more natural position.
He said his mileage isnt any worse than the wing.
He likes the Ultra much better than the Wing.
And yes he also used to wear Harley T-shirts too.

Never owned or road a Wing, but went from a Yamaha Venture to the Harley Road King.
&nbsp\\;
I loved the touring aspect of the Venture as it was quite a smooth ride, and as much as I tried to muscle it, it was like it had a mind of its own, and made moves without even a lean. That being said I felt like I was trully missing something. Initially I could not put a finger on it, but after hanging out with some friends who owned Harleys it came to me.
&nbsp\\;
The Sound!!!! The Looks!!!! The pure ride!!! The feeling like I was trully on 2 wheels!!!
&nbsp\\;
Riding a Venture I could never get the rumble (I believed) riding a motorcycle was all about.
&nbsp\\;
To me Motorcycle's (Cruisers) are about the pure metal feel. (So much Plastic on the Venture) it was like riding a 2 wheeled Car.
&nbsp\\;
As others have said. My wife loved the comfort of the Venture, but now she smiles as do I when I ride the Road King.
&nbsp\\;
If your testing out the Ultra or Classic, go in with an open mind. If there is somthing your looking for in the Harley you dont have from riding the Wing, you will know it!!!!!!

Check out the Road glide too. You might not like the fork mounted fairing of the EG or Ultra. Call your local Harley dealer and ask if you can test ride a few just to get the feel. I hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
