Is it possible to retrieve a SERT program already loaded into the ECM? I have a "custom" download ( supposedly matched for engine and exhaust) and I'd like to see just exactly what was done, and see if the AFR's need to be improved, as the bike is a bit on the toasty side. Dyno would probably be best, I'm just curious about the download.

 

I'm 99% certain the answer is "NO."&nbsp\\; The SERT allows you to send new calibrations to the ECM or collect data while operating the bike.&nbsp\\; It doesn't allow you to retrieve the a/f, ignition timing, etc. that is already in the ECM.

But PM Doc1 and ask him.&nbsp\\; He teaches SERT tuning to dealers, etc.

 

Nope, you can't retrieve the map that is already loaded into the ECM.

I had the dealer give me a copy of the map he built when I had the bike dyno'd.&nbsp\\; Might check with them to see if they still have it and will give you a copy on a memory stick or CD.
