Default Zumo 550 with xm ?

Im alittle confused with all the extra rigging everyone talking about after puchasing the zumo. If I get a zumo 550 today with the Xm antenna. Will it be a plug and use unit out of the box with just&nbsp\\;my radio&nbsp\\;aux. port&nbsp\\;and lighter plug. Im interested in&nbsp\\;only listening to&nbsp\\;XM and GPS&nbsp\\;through my harley helmet headset. thanks&nbsp\\;

oh yeah, you will have to make a cig liter plug. radio shack 2-3 bucks. now for the other rigging, you will need to attach the unit to something, ie handle bar mnt. or&nbsp\\;gas tank mount. do not use the car mnt on the bike, too much vibration.

The Zumo comes with everything you need to mount it, except the cigarette lighter adaptor. I used the RAM mount it comes with, and just put a lighter adaptor on the end of the cord. It looks clean, and everything comes off the bike in 10 seconds, except for the clamp on the handlebar. If that bothers you, then there are many other options to use. I don't have XM, so I can't comment on that, but the Zumo board has lots of good info.

You can use the cigarette plug but Harley does not recommend using it for anything other than the cig lighter. There is an accessory plug under the left side cover.&nbsp\\;

I had thouhgt about doing that, but unless you put some sort of quick disconnect in place, you end up with the wire on your bike when the Zumo is not in use. I don't leave the unit on the bike for my daily commutes to work.
