Default Warranty Question

Last week I purchased an '06 Road King Custom and the bike had only 758 miles on it. I've never owned a bike this new and&nbsp\\;was wondering if the warranty is transferable, does it cost, how much, etc. I would ask my local dealer but I'm sure they wouldn't be&nbsp\\;very helpful as I did not buy it there. Also,&nbsp\\;guys who have purchased new bikes talked about&nbsp\\;servicing the bike in the first 600 or&nbsp\\;1000 miles. I was going to do that myself. Can anyone tell me what I should do besides change engine oil. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
&nbsp\\;
Thanks,
Joechief&nbsp\\;

Default RE: Warranty Question

the factory warranty is only 2 years..so depending on&nbsp\\;when the original owner bought it it may be expired..good find on the low miles...you have any pics of the bike?

Thanks for the info. No pics yet, but what a cherry bike. It still had some of the factory clear plastic wrap on it and the inside of the bags still had the little hanging "how to care for bags" instructions. It was a sweet find. BTW, do you know anything about the first service, is it 600 or 1000 miles and what should I do.
&nbsp\\;
Thanks,
&nbsp\\;
