I also am very glad that you are alright, but the choice to ride again rest entirely with you. Not with this forum, not with your wife or friends, but you. If for some reason you don't feel you are ready yet...then don't, but if you are ready to brush off the dirt and get back on again then do it. Just don't let others make this dession for you.

2) Yea call insurance company - Yours &\\; Hers - Get you Putt Fixed and get back on the road
3) Talk to an Attorney laws are different from State to State

take your time... don't rush into and hasty decisions... you have to ride again, you can't let this own you. You must face your fears. repairing your bike is the cheapest thing to do, it shouldn't cost you a dime. If you don't, your wife will give you pure hell getting another one, weather its a month from now, or 10 years from now. If you have any injuries, get the lawyer. #1 don't talk to, or give a recorded statement to anybodies insurance company.
