Default Help Please to reset Smart Siren
I pulled the Smart Siren&nbsp\\; off my 07 Ultra because when I unhooked the battery it went nuts even with the key fobs in the area Man it is loud so I wrapped it in towels and after 30 seconds it stops until you touch or move it again, then last try as soon as I plugged it in it started screaming. Does anyone know howto reset it so that I can reinstall it? Your advice will be greatly appreciated.

Theres a 9 volt battery under the small cover on the siren try replacing it

To keep the siren from going off when you disconnect the battery, first turn the ignition switch to the on/run position,&nbsp\\;then pull the maxi fuse...Works for me!&nbsp\\; Learned&nbsp\\;it from this forum.

Like Olde Skool said, turn the ignition on and then pull the Maxi-fuse, then disconnect the battery.

If your bike has a security siren the Maxi Fuse MUST be removed BEFORE the alarm is activated. This WILL happen within 5 seconds of turning the ignition switch to OFF position (except for HD-Japan models). If the Maxi Fuse is not removed promptly, the siren WILL SOUND. Remove the left saddle bag and the left side cover. Pull Maxi-fuse from Maxi-fuse holder within 5 seconds from turning off ignition.

THanks everyone pulling te maxi fuse did it. Funny the service manual doesnt mention it.
