You can get the Garmin Zumo 450 right now from Costco for $349.99. That is wayyyy cheaper than the Garmin list price. Add in the usual Costco return policy, and you have a pretty good deal on a dedicated motorcycle GPS. No affiliation other than a long time happy customer.

I can speak from experience. I bought the TomTom Rider when it first came out. It was one of the most frustrating pieces of equipment I have ever used. It is not user friendly and will not easily do much of anything, e.g. can't save current location without going trough about 6 or 7 steps and even then you may not be able to get back to it.... VERY FRUSTRATING. Even though it worked like it was suppose to, I felt guilty as heck selling it on Ebay for less then half of what I paid for it.

I bought the Garmin 550 a little over a year ago and it renewed my faith in electronics. The Garmin works GREAT. The 550 is a much better deal than the 450 and not because of the bluetooth, but because it comes with the car mount, etc.

What's the 550 sell for these days? $650? You can buy the Garmin auto mount for $60 on Ebay, so for the remaining $240 you get bluetooth capability (gotta talk on that cell phone while riding?), XM (requires the optional $240 receiver kit and a monthly subscription), and the 550 speaks the street name when giving navigational instructions.

If you don't need XM or Bluetooth, the 450 at $410 (with the auto mount) or $350 (without) may be a real bargain.
