My bike may be giving me a code, please help
Hi all, my 04 Road King is doing something strange. When I first turn on the switch the lights come on and go out as normal, but after I start it the security key light comes back on and stays on for 10 seconds or so then goes right back out and stays out till i shut it off and start it back up again. Is this normal?

Had the same code come on a while back..turns out that if the code light goes out right around 2-3 secs after selecting the run switch, then comes back on around 5-8 secs later then goes off and stays off, it is a code in the computers memory history..if the problem does not return after 50 more starts then the code light will re-set and not come back on unless a problem re-occurs. This was explained in the maintenance manual.
