noticed on my new ultra the jiffystand sets in the full out position at less than a 90* angle to the bike, if my memory serves me right on my past hds the angle was alittle more than 90*. is this a design change are does it need to be adjusted?
I can't say for 100 percent sure that it does not need to be adjusted but my 05 EG Classic does the same thing a lot of times - It took a while before I trusted it - Now it's second nature - Ask them to look at the 1K but my best guess is that it is fine
The Jiffy stand has a square key in the top. It the key is up in the slot on the mount....it can't fall over unless it breaks. If that happens you have more to worry about. I have pushed on mine up and down hills and it's safe. Just make sure that the key bolt or nut is torqued and you should be good to go.

Good luck.
[sm=signs007.gif] I'll second that and just add that there is no adjustment. Either it's locked or it's not.
